Die Funktionsweise ist wie bei WLAN, DECT oder NFC gleich: ein hochfrequentes elektromagnetisches Feld verbindet Sender und Empf\u00e4nger. Die maximale Reichweite variiert je nach Ger\u00e4t zwischen 10 und 100 Metern. Der Name Bluetooth ist vom d\u00e4nischen K\u00f6nig Harald Blauzahn abgeleitet. Es gebe zwar noch keine detaillierte Forschung, sagen Wissenschaflter der University of California. Aber Studien w\u00fcrden zeigen, dass die Strahlung im Frequenzbereich von Bluetooth bei Tieren Krebs ausl\u00f6sen kann. Sie sind vergleichbar mit WLAN-Routern. Aus gesundheitlicher Sicht sind sie auch als \u00e4hnlich kritisch anzusehen, weil sie im gleichen Frequenzband arbeiten. Zus\u00e4tzlich ist die Puppe per App mit dem Internet verbunden. Solches Spielzeug verbreitet im Haushalt zus\u00e4tzlich hochfrequente elektromagnetische Strahlung.
