In der Schweiz stehen bereits Hunderte von Antennen. Der neue Mobilfunkstandart arbeitet mit einem Frequenzband im Mikrowellenbereich von 6 bis 100 Gigahertz (GHz).<\/p>\n<p>Mit 5G-Mobilfunkanlagen lassen sich Daten mit 10\u2019000 Megabit, also 10 Gigabit oder 1,25 Gigabyte pro Sekunde herunterladen. Jetzt mehren sich Stimmen, die vor den Gefahren warnen. Dies zeigt sich sch\u00f6n am Beispiel der Stadt St. Gallen. Dort ist ein Kleinzellennetz im Einsatz, das den Empfang in der Innenstadt gew\u00e4hrleistet. Der grosse Vorteil: Im Einzugsgebiet liess sich damit die Belastung durch Mobilfunkstrahlung um ein Drittel senken.<\/p>\n<h4>Strahlenbelastung nimmt ab<\/h4>\n<p>Das Departement f\u00fcr Umwelt, Verkehr, Energie und Kommunikation (Uvek) stellt in einem aktuellen Bericht fest: \u00abDas beste Netz f\u00fcr die Minimierung der Belastungen durch Mobilfunkstrahlung ist ein m\u00f6glichst dichtes Netz mit schwachen Sendern.\u00bb Ein Mobilfunknetz nach dem Kleinzellenprinzip setze die Nutzer zwei- bis zehnmal weniger den Strahlen aus als ein Netz mit klassischer Architektur.
